Wordfast GLP packages with a template
An approach for unrecognized translation packages
This video lesson, which I published on YouTube a few years ago shows how one might approach the workflow for translating one of the many types of translation packages out there. The specific example is for Wordfast GLP packages, with the "unrecognized" TXLF variant of XLIFF, but these packages are all simply ZIP files with a bunch of stuff inside, and the method shown in the video can be adapted easily.
The video also presents other useful details, such as the file path limits of Windows which often cause CAT tool users unexpected trouble when dealing with translatable files that have long names.
This one is best viewed on YouTube to take advantage of the time-coded index in the Description field.
